As in any profession, employers seek employees that can be trusted. Honesty, integrity, work-ethic and reliability testing is something that I know about as I have worked as have worked in the corporate testing and assessment industry for five years.  We work with many school districts as well who wish to improve their schools with regard to various personnel issue.

At any rate, “Integrity” is a trait that must be possessed by all persons seeking an elected position.

When I got into this race, the first thing my opponent asked me to do was to drop out.  She obviously doesn’t know me very well.  I was actually insulted by the suggestion because I feel I am more qualified for the position we are both seeking than she happens to be.  I chalked it up to what I call  “Politics 101″.  The bottom line is that the only problem I pose is that I will cost their campaign $300,000 during the primary just be being in the race and that they would rather spend those monies on defeating the Democratic candidate. NEWS FLASH: Brian Kelly CAN defeat the Democratic candidate; it’ll be an up-hill battle to defeat Dr. Barresi.

We have both been cordial to one another on the campaign trail and Dr. Bressi’s sons have been great ambassadors for their mother and are both very nice young men that I have enjoyed meeting and look forward to knowing in the future.

That being said, I received several calls yesterday informing me that every one of my signs along Western Avenue, in Edmond had been “sandwiched” between two Barresi signs.  I personally went out and moved my signs so that they could be viewed again.  This aggravated me to say the least.  There are several very important races for elected offices in today’s primary and the only candidate who had attempted to “cover-up” their opponents political signs was Janet Barresi.  Additionally, the entryways to my subdivision where blanketed, and then some, by Barresi signage.  THANK GOD the Edmond City Code Enforcement Officer is a very diligent sign snatcher, as most are gone today!

I’m sure that Janet didn’t cover up my signs personally, but one of her campaign workers did and perhaps from her instruction.  This is the type Integrity that you can expect from Janet Barresi.  I hope you’ll cast your vote for me.
